Our Data Centre

 

Our data centre is strategically located in Phoenix, Arizona where we are generally free from all natural disasters such as earthquakes, tornado's, hurricanes etc... Our data centre has state of the art Juniper routers and HP Gigabit switches and is 100% fibre optic. We have 60+ tons of automatic redundant Liebert HVAC (climate control) for maximum server reliability. We have redundant power backup including PowerWare UPS and a half Mega Watt Detroit Diesel powered generator system with an automatic transfer panel. Should utility power ever fail, the UPS systems kick in and power the building while the generator automatically starts and then switches from utility to generator power in less than 1 minute.

When utility power is restored, the ATS switches back to utility power. The UPS systems also condition and voltage regulate incoming power to ensure consistent and clean power to all servers, routers and switches. We support all sizes and shapes of servers from 1U rack mount to full tower cases. All servers have a dedicated switch port for the best in speed and security.

We have redundant Sonet ring transport fibre from multiple telco's. These rings have a minimum capability for at least 6 OC-192s each. Fibre optic lines are much more reliable then copper as they are not subject to electrical or environmental interference. In addition, fibre optical cabling has a much greater capacity for bandwidth then copper. The SONET ring technology carries the fibre optical cable in multiple rings giving any point on the ring access to any other point on the ring even if the cable is cut. It is important to note that many data centres and hosting companies share bandwidth and lines, whether fibre optic or copper. We run own private dedicated fibre lines and its own private dedicated internet connections (bandwidth).
